We offer a comprehensive "search and find" service for our customers. If there is something you want and you don't see it on this site please contact us so we can help you find it. We are constantly visiting UK auctions and dealers to find the right stock for our customers and we are always ready to act on your behalf in sourcing items.

Shipping & Delivery

We are able to expertly pack and ship any items that are bought from us to any location worldwide. Please ask us for a quotation when making your enquiries about our stock. We use only reputable specialist antique & fine art shipping agents and can also help arrange insurance of your property in transit.

Picture Framing

John Garner Antiques offers a full on-site picture framing service with a wide selection of frame styles and materials to choose from.

Restoration

Restoration can be arranged on any item bought from us (if not already restored) and we will gladly organise the restoration of your own items through our specialist contacts. Specialisms include furniture, clocks paintings and prints restoration.

Professional Valuations

Formal written valuations of your objects or collections can be given for insurance and probate purposes in line with industry best-practice. Please contact us for details.

Selling on commission

If you have an item of period furniture or fine art that you wish to sell then we may be willing to act on your behalf in finding a buyer, in return for a pre-negotiated rate of commission. Our reputation and wide-ranging contacts within the UK fine art & antiques trade ensure that your property will gain the exposure it deserves. We may also be prepared to buy an item directly from you (most fine art and antique dealers obtain a substantial part of their stock in this way).

In either case you can be confident that you will be treated with honesty and fairness, and in full compliance with the LAPADA guidelines on buying and selling art & antiques.
